The S.C.H.S. Marching Band will appear on Fox 8 Kickin' It with Kenny This Friday, September 15 from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. on channel 8. This is there 2nd appearance as a joint performance with the Willard High School Band. We hope you tune in and support the Trojans! Go. S.C.

Friendly Reminder, Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 5th is Picture Day for South Central High School. All students are required to be photographed regardless of intent to purchase so our student information system can be up to date with current photos. Students on modified schedules are expected to report no later than 8:15 a.m. as well.

"Meet the Team" Night for the 2023 7-12 Fall Sports teams will be Wednesday, August 16th at 7 pm at the Stadium. Please join us to kick off the fall sports seasons as we recognize our Jr. High and High School Fall Sports athletes and wish them the best of luck this season.
There will be a mandatory OHSAA Parent Meeting for all parents who have a student playing a fall sport in grades 7 thru 12 on Tuesday, August 1 at 7:00pm in the high school gymnasium. Please plan to attend if your son or daughter is planning to participate in Football, Volleyball, or Cheerleading this fall sports season. Student/athletes are welcome to attend as well.

North Central State College will be on campus tomorrow from 1-3 pm administering the accuplacer, it is free if the student has not taken it before and $25 if they wish to retake the accuplacer.
Reminder for students to complete their Exam Attendance and Lunch Survey 2022-23 Form. This form is necessary for any missed periods during exam tests on 5/24 and 5/25 to be considered excused. All students grades 9-11 are asked to fill out the form. This includes students who will be in attendance full days as it's helpful for us to account for lunch needs. Students are also expected to have a signed permission slip which is emailed to them. Copies of these forms are available in the office as well. Students are requested to have all forms completed and permission slips turned in by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22nd. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dear Parents and Seniors: It is with great excitement that I am reaching out to you with information for the George and Margaret Sweeting Scholarship. Seniors were emailed information about this scholarship Monday 4/24/23. We want to also inform parents of the opportunity, as well. This is an additional local scholarship that is due May 4, 2023. Students need an application, essay, current transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, and will go through an interview on May 12 if they are in the final candidate selection. If there are any questions, please contact Mrs. Baker.
